Flat tax on consumption.
Regressive and does not tax investment income.
I think it should be the other way around:
tax investment income, not wages.
Some exception for small incomes;
non-taxable wages less than $50K or $100K.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

The tournament is a bit gimmicky as well.comments ...about stars missing and crowd noise etc.
Many in the american soccer bubble are Completely oblivious that MLS has pushed this political agenda too far for a big chunk of the population.

I saw a soccer reporters tweet saying how shitty mls is back ratings are. Not getting into a debate about BLM, but I'm not seeing anything stating how poor ratings have been. I've seen this article:
https://www.inquirer...n-20200725.html
It states the following:
- Ratings up 7% versus July, 2019.
- Prime Time games up 4% versus last year (289k average viewers for these games).
- 9 AM games have struggled mightily (highest viewership was 175k)
This, to me, shows BLM has virtually no impact, one way or the other. Increases in viewership due to people being home/bored more frequently, primarily, and offset by early weekday start times.
Also of note, but not of relevance to this topic, is our game against Atlanta was apparently the most viewed game of the tournament thus far (639k viewers).
quite possible that LAFC-Seattle had a lot of viewers.
RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.
RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

Very possible, this article is a few days old. I would suspect that game did a higher number, actually.
There are a lot more obvious reasons as to why ratings could be down. How about the game times? Im working from home, but its still hard to watch a 9am match. Or a 10:30pm one for that matter. I wonder how bad the ratings actually are if you compared them only to similar timed matches from prior years. I know there are no 9am Wednesday matches, but there are numbers on 10pm EST on weekdays to compare.I saw a soccer reporters tweet saying how shitty mls is back ratings are.
