Seriously, I was expecting at least 18,000 with the warm weather and fireworks show. The atmosphere was completely absent at times. Well at least the lines for the bathroom and concessions were reasonable. And why the hell were some people leaving quickly after the game and missing the fireworks show ? Seems rather dumb. On a side note the PATH service was a pain in the ass tonight. If the Cosmos stadium ever gets built in Manhattan nobody from the NY area would ever come to a red bull game ever again.

However high praise must be bestowed upon the front office for that fireworks show.

I think more free posters and fireworks shows are in order.

And yeah, I walked up to the Arena and thought "Hey, looks like a decent turnout,"

...but they couldn't even give away all 10,000 posters.

Don't worry, to help drive more numbers, next home game they are going to do the fireworks DURING the game.

Is the fireworks show done only once a year or will it occur again this season ?

It seems Philly fans have signed up on metrofanatic to vote for themselves (in 'What team do you hate more?') . No real fan of this team would vote anything other than DC.

They should consider doing the fireworks BEFORE, and make the 'soccer game' the sideshow.

Well you have the upcoming Revs game where the first 5,000 kids under 12 get a free Kenny Cooper tshirt. It would be cute to see a stadium full of little kids singing wipe out.
Why Soccer is better than Baseball:

Soccer is a game about a group of people working together to protect and obtain a common goal.

Baseball is a game with a bunch of babies just trying to run "home" and be "safe"
