Jealous of Philly, well run team and some savvy signings.

For all the talk about Aaronson, who is great, they went out and acquired Santos, Przybylko, Martinez, Monteiro, Bedoya, and Wagner in recent years.

Also helps when you have a clearly defined style of play

don't forget Ilsinho   ;-)

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Laid out by a guy that came over from RB Salzburg no less.

They bring in a Sporting Director and start playing more like our successful teams. We hold on to a coach that continues to move us away from what has been successful for us...

It took Marsch a game or two to stop forcing the 4-2-2-2 when he realized he didnt have personnel for it. Is Armas that much slower than Marsch?

LAFC looking more and more like Red Bulls of the West with every knockout elimination.

Give it time.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

They were favorites every time they got knocked out. They won the shield with the best record ever in the MLS and got knocked out. They might be an expansion team but they are run absolutely nothing like one, hell these days we are closer to the definition of a shit expansion team than they are.

If in a few years they are still bombing out like that, sure. But they look every bit the part of a team determined to learn and improve from year to year.

There's only one Metro!

[Edit: LAFC already won a shield. We respect shields as great accomplishments of season long excellence around here!]

RED. BULL. OUT.

We didn't start to bomb out as favorites until the 2010s. Now it's par the course, of course.

At least the days of bombing out as favorites are over. They will bomb out far before the playoffs even start!

Hearing refs on VAR is fantastic.

(Would not have wanted to hear them on that damn interference call in 2018.)
