So we have been thrown into this play-in type of game for the open cup. There are no other games for us before hand, and this is less than a week away - might as well start talking about it!

Can we expect a full strength lineup? I certainly hope so, a loss at that stage would be embarrassing.

Is there any way to watch this, even if it is on some SopCast again or something?

Will that new Argentine fella be available to the Crew? Hope they start Vagenas, just in case.

Schelleto's 1st match isn't supposed to be for a couple of weeks.

I can't find nada on live coverage of the match. That stinks.

No is true.

He'll play vs. the Galaxy, then head back to Argentina to finish paperwork and a send-off goodbye at La Bombonera. (He won't be playing; it's just to say adios, che.)

so this shizz isn't on tv? Weak. Do they ever play Open Cup games on tv or just the finals last year?

I think when we won it in 05 it wasn't even broadcasted right?

Well if Schelleto does play he'll be in for quite the surprise; packed stadiums in Argentina as opposed to the 8 fans that will show up at Columbus. They have their own stadium and attendance still sucks. With Pete "I wanna convince Beckham to shave a horseshoe in his head" Vagenas, we can't lose.

Does anybody know why on gods green earth they still have the galaxy home on 1700 am? I have never in 3 years since i found out about that station even once picked up a word. The FO needs to move the broadcasts to a real LA station so we can get the game when we arent by our computers.

Anyways, does columbus seem like the type of team that would play physical with us and take out Lando from the opening? You betcha. We need others to step it up.... cough Jaqua cough

Fox Soccer Channel has shown some of the games live the past couple of years. I don't know about this year.

Haggis is correct. There was one year when FSC showed every game starting with the round where MLS teams joined the competition.

The real problem with the T.V. coverage is that this tourney is run by U.S. Soccer. MLS is an invitee and therefore wields no power when it comes to T.V. rights and covereage. Shite organization + shite promotion = 0 coverage.

Patience my friend. I'm sure around the end of July, the Savior will arrive and all of our matches will be broadcasted via HD radio, online radio and HD tv!

I remember last year or the year before there was a game between the Galaxy and colorado during the week on an obscure channel like 26 or 27 I can't remember but half the game was lost due to technical diifficulties I don't know if the game was regular season or open cup I don't remember but maybe this channel will try to redeem itself for that travesty and try to show this game versus columbus.

I have no idea what to think about this. Is Yallop trying to win this? 'Cause if we advance, our schedule will get really crowded this summer. Still...

I hope we win.
