Guess we are banking on Colin staying healthy.

Which is no different than our shitty CB situation the past few years. Not encouraging.

"Make better luck" = better preparation and tougher mentality - including a better roster - and more things fall your way.

Them banking on Collin as a "new signing" makes me muy nervous, too.

I think that the loss of Duvall a couple years ago has really quietly hurt us.  A solidly average RB steadily improving.  Now we have Murillo, who is probably better, but he's also the first person to slide over into CB due to injuries/suspensions.  And that left Zizzo as a mainstay at RB last season.  Really wish we could sign either a serviceable backup to Murillo at RB, or another CB so Murillo doesn't have to inevitably move to CB and leave RB open.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Except no, we either had Murillo at RB, or mostly played with 3 CBs and an outstanding Adams at right wingback.   But yes, we overall need more defensive depth... can't all be on Connor Lade on the outside, which is why we have Kyle Duncan in camp

  • Interests:belligerent love that Red Bulls fans threw his way, in that particularly entitled, disrespectful, yet somehow fiercely loyal manner New York sports fans specialize in.

I was just reading this: A new look new York Red bulls

And it mentions Perrinelle joining the staff in some capacity. I haven't heard anything about that anywhere else. This a known thing?

Factual, but no analysis.

I vaguely remember hearing something about DP becoming a scout for the team? But I dont remember if that was an actual rumor or someone on here makin a joke about us using our players as scouts.

A new look New York Red Bulls

The article seems translated, or written by a non-native English speaker.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

We had to send $50k of GAM to Atlanta for Kaku's discovery rights.

No worries.....We can offset it with the $1K of GAM we got for Patterson-Sewell! LOL

The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. Not when the Smurfs are the poster child of MLS.
