Brexit Visa Rules Mean Premier League Should Scout MLS, Liga MX And Brazil (forbes.com)

Interesting article. MLS and Liga MX players may be more valuable after Brexit. Also, seems it will be tougher for non-elite level players from EU to play in England.

Maybe would up the value of US guys (Long)? Also, maybe a touch less competition for acquiring guys from Austria/Germany and, with the TV deal falling through, France?

Shoot, if my math is right - it looks like Kaku might even qualify for a UK permit under change in rules. That's big for recouping investment.

If the USMNT keeps a top 20 FIFA ranking, American MLS players will have an easy time getting English work permits : ussoccer (reddit.com)

If Clark, Amaya, or Duncan play in the gold cup, I guess they all would immediately qualify for UK work permit... pretty crazy.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

And its more difficult for these ligue 1 players to get UK permit than prior to Brexit... less competition for Thelwell to to beat out.

Off topicish. I saw Wales fans were unable to travel to their knockout game due to Covid restrictions in Holland. Does anyone know if England fans will be able to travel to Rome if they win their next game? I would love that because they were gifted every other Euro game at home.

USA are exactly 20th currently:

Next update August 12th.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
