maybe they enroll him in the academy for a semester, and have him play a bunch of RB2 minutes as an amateur, just like how they did with Tolkin and others.

or they sign him to an RB2 deal, like they did Sowe.

It would be nice to get a talented kid into the Academy.

Is he 15?

The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. they lack of interest in this signing on these boards is SMH

Apparently the kid had

Clark had significant interest from FC Barcelona, but opted for a route with a clearer path to first team minutes.

I'm excited for this signing. Hoping for more

Looks like our boy Tyler may have played a role in this.

Encouraging signing and I hope this is how we continue to use RB2 in the future.

technically, if he is really x2 good, he could get signed to the 1st team in the same way how Buck and Kutler earned 1st team contracts. both were promoted directly from RB2 mid-season. also, there is space on the development/reserve roster (21-30).

This could end up being a very important signing.  I like that he has already lived away from home, so this won't be a completely new experience + he knows Ryan.  Going to be interesting to see how much time he gets initially with second team because the projected roster is pretty top heavy.

Getting Clark fills the gap between Tolkin and our next set of promising academy guys (Hot and Toure probably though its early to know for sure)

Quite possible that at the beginning of the RB2 season, he won't be in the 18.

Good prospect. Very exciting. However, hes only hype until he steps into the first team and starts kicking ass.

So lets not start sucking each others popsicles yet.

Beats sucking wooden popsicle sticks in the basically non existant transfer market

(isn't that the worst part of a popsicle - your enjoying this sweet treat and then you have to suck on wood - yeck!)

Not hype - young player with potential.  We see how those go - Tyler, Alphonso or Adu and range of players in between.

Present me should be excited because the development territories are about to be opened up.  Also, he might have friends / brothers

Present me should also look forward to him possibly kicking it into a first team contract in the summer - and then being loaned back and able to beat Louisville in USL playoffs.

SHOUT OUT TO Brian Lewis!

Can I get a like from Matrim??
