I agree, maybe because I'm not a huge fan, I like it a little watered down.Tap, but if I have the spoon and a Bass I like to go Black and Tan

I prefer it saying Pale Ale on the bottle.....guiness and newcastle....bleckhhh.
amen. Newcastle has chemicals and guiness lacks body. I'd rather have beamish than guiness.

I have not had a beamish.amen. Newcastle has chemicals and guiness lacks body. I'd rather have beamish than guiness.

Based on your previous rants, you won't like it. It's an Irish stout.I have not had a beamish.
I have them with me in Lot 13 sometimes.

1) Pale Ale is to IPA (India Pale Ale)
as
Maid
is to
French Maid
2) Beamish is quite nice.

For some reason I haven't tried Beamish yet but I keep intending to get me a pack HAHA Would you consider Beamish better than Guinness in your opinion? I'll have to get some this weekend... maybe with some Bass Ale and make black and tansBased on your previous rants, you won't like it. It's an Irish stout.

Not better, but different. To me, Beamish is closer to Murphy's than it is to Guinness.Would you consider Beamish better than Guinness in your opinion?

It has a slightly sweeter taste than Guinness, which is cool sometimes, but Guinness is still the one I always go back to.Not better, but different. To me, Beamish is closer to Murphy's than it is to Guinness.

Sometimes I thirst for strong beer; I do not really like the taste of Barley Wine as much as I like the strength. It knocks me on my ass and I like it; I could not imagine drinking barley wine for refreshment purposes. EKU for instance, does not taste that great but I get a Viking of gnarl buzz off it. IPA is just down right disgusting to me with none of the extreme inebriation you get with barley wine. It is kind of like being friends with a chick; you have to listen to all the gossip and tale telling but no tang. How do you like Barleywine and hate IPA?
