I agree, maybe because I'm not a huge fan, I like it a little watered down.

amen. Newcastle has chemicals and guiness lacks body. I'd rather have beamish than guiness.

Sierra Nevada is decent...I just picked the picture cause it says it in such large font....The Red Car in Torrance has a pretty good IPA...The firestone double barrel ale is mmmm as well. I have not had a beamish.

I have not had a beamish.

Based on your previous rants, you won't like it. It's an Irish stout.

I have them with me in Lot 13 sometimes.

Not better, but different. To me, Beamish is closer to Murphy's than it is to Guinness.

It has a slightly sweeter taste than Guinness, which is cool sometimes, but Guinness is still the one I always go back to.

How do you like Barleywine and hate IPA?

I like malty brews more than hoppy brews.

Sometimes I thirst for strong beer; I do not really like the taste of Barley Wine as much as I like the strength. It knocks me on my ass and I like it; I could not imagine drinking barley wine for refreshment purposes. EKU for instance, does not taste that great but I get a Viking of gnarl buzz off it. IPA is just down right disgusting to me with none of the extreme inebriation you get with barley wine. It is kind of like being friends with a chick; you have to listen to all the gossip and tale telling but no tang.
