I have always admired Petke as a player and coach for ny red bulls. I always felt he was let go for failing to win the mlscup after winning our first major piece of hardware.

Getting way ahead of yourself. If we actually make the final I don't care who we play since we host no matter what.

Also don't think Salt Lake is good enough to make it to the final and I don't care if they do or not since Salt Lake is not my team.

I don't think Mike was let go for anything to do with results, positive or negative.  Right or wrong, he's just not the type of coach Red Bull wants running their teams.

I would be happy to see either Mike or Gio coaching the opposition in RBA on 12/8. Chris still has work to do, to make sure that the game is at RBA.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Yeah, us in the final is huge because we know it's going to be a home game.  I feel like the place could carry the team at times.

Also think we are better than RSL so no issue playing them.  Petke or not.

KC is the team I fear most out of the west and I even think we're better than them.  Vermes just an amazing coach though and seems to squeeze water from rocks when it comes to his players.

I love Petke and will always revere him as a Metro legend, but I dont care who we play. Just get to the damn final and let us all enjoy the first ever MLS Cup at RBA

Mike already won a cup with DC as a player, and that was painful enough for the soul for us to watch, thank you very much. The idea of him winning another one as a coach at RBA against us....I'd rather not have to think about that. I'd rather not have "stuff" to think about- just give me Seattle to beat & I'll be happy.
