I have mixed feelings on this. I think (hope?) they'll at least have one game per week on CBS broadcast, which is huge. But I'm worried they'll put the rest behind a paywall like TNT did this year.

"SBJ also reports that the games will air on the CBS, CBS Sports Network and CBS' streaming service, "All Access." "

Sounds like 1 on CBS, 1 on CBSSN, the rest behind a paywall. Not too shabby.

Thats great. Especially considering the more appealing games are typically broadcast on the flagship channel.

the only sports properties I watch that are on CBS channels are SEC FB/BB and NFL games. maybe they'll have a roster of Spanish commentators who will handle some of the english commentary duties in the interim.

in studio production should be as good as NBC's an better than Fox.

2 NASL Soccer Bowls:
https://en.m.wikiped...NASL_Final_1974
https://en.m.wikiped...Soccer_Bowl_'75
CBS broadcast the debut of Pelé with the Cosmos,
to a reported 10 million viewers.
I was not one of them, because I was at the game! 😁.

Wiki says CBS broadcast the 1974 World Cup.
I remember watching the final match, but not the network.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

2024 final at MetLife?

Plans to play a La Liga game in Miami next month
have been blocked by a Spanish Court:

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Former Metro Legend Albert Celades ... in Valencia.

Legend? Perhaps bright spot in our worst season:

P.S. Pulisic scores, after VAR review!
