I don't think Lacava or Sowe will play much for the 1st team. Just a hunch. Hope they can be productive with the reserves again. Carmona, iirc, is allegedly spending the entire season on loan to RB2, similar to when Casseres spent [almost all of] 2018 with the reserves.

I expect Harper to get plenty of first team looks. No idea re production, but we'll see.

they cant they dont have contracts

Time to update depth chart?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Not saying week 1 - but, just for conversation, at some point maybe this is a possibility:

Klimala - Fabio

Harper

Frankie ----- Clark

Diarra

Gutman - Tarek - Long - Edwards

Coronel

8/11 new signings

Edit: accidentally quoted mibabalou -sorry

Switching Frankie for Yearwood and that may be the best XI

Fabio Klimala

-----Amaya

Clark Yearwood

------Diarra

Def & Coronel

Everything I see about Amaya shows him as a holding mid or Dax-type destroyer.   He talks like an attacking guy, but plays the opposite.  All his productivity is on defense.  When he got Covid, the Nats brought in Andres Perea to replace him, who is clearly a defensive mid.

Check out this highlight clip I posted in the other thread - start 1:55, but I think the whole clip shows similar stuff

Frankie AMAYA ● Magical Skills & Assists Cincinnati 2021 - YouTube

Dude is one of the 8s in a diamond for sure. Totally looks the part for the RB system.

I don't put any weight on Kries's selections....

Should be Diara for Davis and Reyes for Tarek, but doesn't seem to be working to plan yet.     Will be interesting to watch the Duncan/Edwards competition, and how much Valot and CCJ and OMir and the rest  will work themselves into the mix.

Frankie could be this team's Felipe, sans the Dark Arts.
