Edit: since Mexico is in group A, they can only play the semifinal on July 2 (regardless of whether they finish first or second). Phew!

I've been on ticketmaster for 15 minutes and it won't let me buy tickets.

You're trying too hard.

Looking at what's available now, I'm not sure this is worth a flip, tons of basically full sections available and other full sections that are clearly not on sale yet. I'll pass.
Are they charging stupid prices (yeah, I know the answer)?

just about 2 weeks out and tickets seem to be selling well. Ticketmaster only has tickets in 6 sections available (4 behind the goal and 2 midfield sections). - (edit - not including resale tickets)
edit: i must have had some sort of filter activated. there's more sections open than what i typed above...but not many left in the cheaper sections

Missed the bat in flipping these for $. O well. I would think it should be a good crowd. Can't remember the last time Boca Juniors played around here. Also keep in mind that this is July 3 and many people are off from work July 4th.
Always nice to get people in the arena. Hope some of them come back again...

Is the FO doing anything to attract these one-off fans to RB games?
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Lets be honest, probably not. Would be nice to give away tickets to a RedBull game for those purchasing tickets to this game.

So they can inflate attendance numbers some more? Not like these people would show up for a Wednesday game vs Dallas even if it were free.

People are not showing up for weekend games!

They should be giving every single person who goes to this a free Red Bulls ticket. If they don't go, then fine. But at least try.

Perhaps a voucher, to be exchanged for a ticket to certain upcoming games? Or, just bring your Boca ticket to the box office at a future game?

they should as it just good business practice
but it won't make a difference
MLS is viewed inferior and/or they are busy watching home league + Europe country league + Chamions league.
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.
