Kiss of death by Lalas just now in the Bundesliga half time show, saying ATL is the obvious pick to win the tournament with his 2nd/surprise pick being NYRB.

If we keep Sims and Pendant turns out to be good, we might have a chance to put out a decent roster. True, there is no striker, but we have an option start Sims and play Royer up top. Losing Sims now though takes that option away, and makes us weak on the bench at the very least. What's going on with Sims does anyone know?

I didn't notice him in any of the training videos on the club website, but they're very short videos and I also could have simply missed him.

Hes not here, remains to be seen if hell be back but I doubt it.

Valot is preferred by Armas, so dont see the point unless they plan on actually playing him consistently

I quite like Sims

- Sims may want to go back and try for Southhampton again or another place

- they may not have been able to agree to transfer fee or salary

- I think they mentioend a little on Seeing REd with 4222 he may not fully fit problem is

- also Valot looked reaaaaly good

- or perhaps Jorgensen will have breakout year and Sims is extra baggage.............    ;-)

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Most likely he's not coming back.  The guy was not getting play over Valot.

If he cant start in MLS, why would he come back?

I think you're right.  And, I'd be ok with it if Valot didn't have such a bad history with injuries...

ACL tears don't really reoccur too often. If he can get past it psychologically and rehabbed well without creating issues elsewhere, he should be okay.

2 seasons in a row. Who knows if he blew out his ACLs while with PSG's academy/youth teams or Monaco's reserve squad?

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

At that point he would be straight bone on bone.

I hear you, but two years in a row with season ending injuries... just doesn't fill me with confidence.

And if he does go down...we'd be stuck in the same predicament, hoping that the replacement could replicate what Valot can do when healthy.

*checks roster*

yeah, right.

So now we go from we have no strikers to no right midfielders

We still have no high quality strikers either. (There's no way White maintains his conversion rate from last year.)
