Philly is boring. Hope the boys can get excited for this one.

They've only beaten the dregs of the league, but they have won two in a row.

I've seen too many boring Philly games where nothing happens for the entire game besides two preventable Philly goals.

Also, I'm gonna assume Taxi is out indefinitely, but hopefully Adams' knee is nothing serious. And although Robles is our captain if he needs more time to recover that's fine, Meara was great tonight.

I'm tempted to start Meara regardless. He played incredibly well, and Robles has played a fuck ton of minutes the last 5 years. We're in a comfortable spot. Rest wouldn't be the worst thing for Robles.

That wouldn't be too bad honestly. I'd be confident with that lineup vs the Worms.

If MLS GM's weren't terrible at their jobs they would be calling us with serious offers for Meara. He would be a starter (and a very good one) for at least 90% of the rest of the league. Funny Meara story is joking with an ESC board member at a II game about Meara being the Maytag repairman (and yes, I know I just dated myself with that joke) and they told me Meara is happy because he just trains, never has to do anything and get paid relatively well.

That link says that we get to keep them until May 28, so we should get 1 more game out of Murillo and Escobar

He is making about the same money as he would as a firefighter, without those risks. Of course, he is not going to play in MLS for 20 years. Does MLS have a pension system?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I will assume we baby all the injuries we have:

..........bwp
Royer.....Kaku... valot
.........Davis
Lade.................Murillo
..long..Collin.. Parker
......... Meara

Under no circumstances do I want lade as the sole LB in a 4 man back line.

Id rather have Lade as the sole LB in a 4 man backline than Collin on the pitch at all.

Wonder how the Muyl to outside back thing is coming along. Cause we might need it real soon.

While I am perfectly okay with Rza or Bezecourt starting next to Davis next week, I think I would prefer to slide Valot back and give Etienne a start at right winger.  I think he's been our best non-starter the last month or so. Would like him rewarded with a start than the other alternatives.  That being said all the alternatives are solid, so nothing worth losing sleep about.
