MON loss leaves them at 39, a 3-way tie for 7th.
Each has 2 games to go, & needs 2 wins. Tying RB at 43 isn't enough, as our goal difference is far superior. RB are +2, MON is -4, NE -10, ORL -13.

Philly's 2-0 win puts it back in the playoff picture, with 4 teams now at 39. It would still need 2 wins, though, as the first tiebreaker is wins, and a win + draw would leave PU with 11 wins, while RB already have 12.
Each of these 4 has averaged 1.2 points per game. It's a stretch to assume that any of them could win both remaining games, but if MON (@ TFC) or NE (v. NYC) manage to win their next game, then a W in the finale would give them those 6 points & 6th place, if RB fails to get 3 points in its last 3 games.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Well at least this weekend. We could not defeat a clueless DC at home yet we expect something different from in form Vancouver and Atlanta? It's going to come down to tre last game of the season.

Everything has to go into the Vancouver game.

Everything has to go into the last 3 games. They just have to outscore the other team, just like the 2000 Metros.

FC Dallas broke a FIFA (and MLS) roster violation against Orlando, and may have to forfeit that game. If that happens, Orlando is 2 points back with 1 more game played.
If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Just our luck. Not what we need, the way were playing.

I'm torn between loving to watch Atlanta lose, but wanting them to catch City for the 2nd spot so we can avoid them in the playoffs.
Also fun fact, Kyle Reynish just got sent off for ATL.

Atlanta blew it.
We may be travelling to Atlanta for the play-in game.
God help us.

Could still just as easily be Chicago or Columbus at this point.

Would a loss to ATL actually benefit us if three points to them means they pass City and finish 2nd?

In theory yes, because I'd much rather play in the baseball stadium than @Atlanta. But we need points to fight off Orlando/Montreal, and I don't want to rely on getting a result @DC on the last day of the season.

I would've been all for it if they won tonight. As is, definitely go for the win - I'd rather play Chicago and have the double over Atlanta in case we miraculously end up meeting them in the conf final.Would a loss to ATL actually benefit us if three points to them means they pass City and finish 2nd?
