I'm talking to all the musical talent out there. YOU!!!

As some of you know, I have written and copyrighted some songs that LARS have sung and made a part of the 138 repertoire. "Never Rest Easy" and "Galaxy" are originals.

But that's not all. My list includes:

Never Rest Easy
Galaxy (Anthem)
Galaxy Girl
We Will Always Stand Together
Come On, LA
Ole, LA
Victoria Street

I think that's it. Not sure, as the beer is kicking in.

So, at the MLS Final, I got loaded and starting talking up Chaos and Fern and reminisced about how cool it was to get a band together and bring songs to the garage and jam. Well, I would like to propose that if anyone wants to work on a project, I got a few songs that I'd like to play with a band.

Seems like with Chaos and Fern, we've got at least one guitarist and one bassist. Two bassists, if you include Chaos's wife. I'm a guitarist, if you accept the bare minimum requirements for the term, so a talented lead guitarist would be great.

If there are any drummers out there, that would be cool.

I know the Mack is a keyboardist, so that's covered. Are there any fellas out there that can play brass? Horns? Anyone out there that can blow a harmonica? Any fiddlers, banjoists, mandolinists? SINGERS?!

I would love to get together with a few like-minded musicians to jam on a few songs written about the team we love and try to make some stuff sound good.

Post here if this sounds interesting to you. What do you play? ANY instrument works. Do you have a place where we can jam?

I would really like this stuff to blast from the HDC loudspeakers one day.

I'm throwing out "Flat Back Four" as a band name. Okay with you?

No musical talent here but every good band needs a roadie.

Jamming as a full band might be difficult to pull off, I dunno. But, going new skool and emailing tracks and ideas around might be able to include more people in the process. I love the idea of original LARS shit. I play guitar by the way.

Tell me the key, and I'll play the boards. Whether I'm ripping a bluesey B3 organ riff, or getting hardcore resonance on a Moog monosynth like the Prodigy... I'm in.

Full time band? That's dreaming. I like the idea of putting stuff out for your perusal. I'll work on that when I'm on Winter break, now that Binh is in town.

I'm thinking some fun jam sessions from time to time. Until we make it big, though. At which point we abandon our families and tour the world.
