RB hanging on to 6th with 42 points.
ATL up to 3rd on 49 points with W over Montreal.
Impact remain stuck on 39 points, in 7th.
Revs beat TFC, now at 38.
Our game in hand to be played Wed. vs. DC.
3 points are needed to create some distance.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Atlanta could end up overtaking NYC for the second spot, leaving the Red Bulls (if they finished sixth) paired up with the blue team for a wildcard game at the baseball stadium. I'd take that right now. NYC seem to be fading a bit.

Almiron left the field in tears after 17 minutes in Atlanta tonight, looks like a hamstring injury.

I would much rather go to Yankee Stadium for that game than Atlanta with they way they are looking lately, assuming we even make it of course. We would get killed in Atlanta with the way they are playing.  NYCFC has stalled nearly as badly as us over the last month.  Plus pulling off an unlikely and surprising win in that game could do a lot to bring something positive to a very sad season.

Montreal losing at home is the only reason I'm not drinking myself to oblivion right now

We can beat anyone anywhere in a 1 game winner take all.

But not with this defense. If we go to Atlanta and lose it won't be because we can't score goals. We've scored goals on the road all year.

We will lose because we can't keep the ball out of our own net.

Atlanta vs this defense would be the biggest mismatch in MLS history. The over/under on goals scored by them would be at least 4.
Let's Go Buffalo!!!

The only reason for Metro fans not to drink to oblivion is because they have something important to do in the morning.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

DC officially eliminated.
Philly eliminated with a Red Bulls win or if they don't win out.
If Red Bulls win just any one of their remaining games, New England and Orlando must win out.
Red Bulls eliminate Montreal with two wins in their last four games or one win and a Montreal loss.

MON & NE have to play each other. Best result for us, as usual, would be a draw.

You could be right.
I had expected victory last night, especially when we took the late lead, and then had projected wins over Vancouver & at D.C.
Now, I see that Vancouver is 5W-2T-7L on the road, & DC is 6W-3L-7L at home, so draws are more likely:

Big day tomorrow.
ORL sitting on 38 points, hosts Dallas at 4 PM.
We visit TFC at 7, on 43.
At 7:30, NE (also on 38) hosts ATL.
At 9 PM, MON (39) are at Colorado.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

ORL gets a point in goalless draw, now has 39.
Hernandez made tremendous saves for DAL, who were denied a PK on a blatant handball, which seemed destined to go it. No VAR.
RBA-size crowd.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
