El Dorado Park
Long Beach, CA. 90815
The 2013 LARS Champions League continues as S&P plays host to B&G, TCRFC and VSUFC at El Dorado park in Long Beach.
In the 1st round Slap and Pickle got the proverbial monkey off their backs by finally defeating rivals Beer and Gymnastics 3-2 in early game. In the late game Tupac's Crown of Roses exacted revenge on champions Valley United Succession with a 5-2 thumping.
Last year in these fixtures TCR topped S&P 2-1 on goals through Marc and Sal. Now B&G faithful Isaac Mentaxka got the lone goal for the Long Beach Boys who will certainly be hopeful of reversing their fortunes against the men from Pasadena.
B&G took an absolute trashing at the hands of the VSUFC a year ago with a 3-0 result thanks to 2 goals from eventual Golden Boot winner Danilo and LARScelona forward Kane.
First Game:
Noon - Slap and Pickle v. Tupac Crown of Roses
Second Game
1:30pm - Beer and Gymnastics v. Valley United Secession
After the game will we be having the post game bar celebration at The Stache Bar. See you there!!!

Like I said, as long as there is beer at the Stache, who gives a fuck. I personally feel that if the teams don't show up at the after game drinking, their goals should be invalidated. After all, what is the fucking point of all this if we don't actually have a fucking good time doing it?

It has to do with TCRFC sending in Gary, who plays with Moonlight and the Torrance Pickup. Gary wasn't on the declared roster Jamesey posted (that apparently only two of the four teams bothered to declare..?) so not only was his goal invalidated, but the game has apparently been revised from a 5-2 win for TCRFC to a draw for both teams.

Or what if instead we have the whole roster not show up when playing for 3rd place? Oh wait, that's been done already. Can we penalize that too for the LARS champions league of the year after?
PS--the boards are alive!!!!
