Im positive for COVID-19. I found out my results on Tuesday. Let me tell you: it sucks.
I have been sick for six days, but luckily have been spared the worst symptoms. My pulmonologist started me on Kaletra and Plaquenil immediately (in fact, he starred me on the Kaletra before I even had my positive test results, because I am in an at-risk category). I have no doubt that this timely intervention was key to minimizing my symptoms. I had developed difficultly breathing and a fever, which the drugs seem to have sorted out. Not everyone has access to such exceptional care, sadly. So, others will not be so lucky.
However, its been no walk in the park. Ive had diarrhea since Sunday, am constantly achy and can barely keep my eyes open. No amount of sleep does any good. So, please, do what you can to: a) avoid getting it yourself; and b) avoid passing it on to others who might be more at risk than you are.
It's a club that has won trophies, and where players like Thierry Henry and Youri Djorkaeff have played. I can't wait to get started and help the team win more trophies. I'm very excited to play in this beautiful stadium. I'm eager to meet the fans, to see the atmosphere at the stadium, and how they fire up the stadium."
I’m going to call this a good point for RBNY even though it goes down as yet another blown lead. It keeps being the same story: when they press they’re still very very good. But when they don’t press they just hold on for dear life and pray.
Per Second Spectrum, RBNY had 61 high presses against CIN and just 32 against RSL. Over the course of the game on MatchDay 1 Cincy lost possession within 10 seconds 65.57 percent of the time. On MatchDay 2 RSL lost possession inside of 10 seconds just 34.48 percent of the time.
It’s impossible to press for 90 minutes every week, especially at altitude and especially in the summer. Chris Armas has to figure this out because the underlying numbers paint an ugly picture of what’s to come for the Red Bulls.
does anyone have a link handy for the "themed" nights at RBA this year? I could have sworn i saw it either in an email or on their website, but I can't find it now. I'm talking about special events like fireworks night (I think there were 2 home games with fireworks this year), etc.
He played for us for a lot of years, never a peep about him being a bad guy or a problem. 2-days after a transfer, then you leak these reports. So similar to how the Eagles tried to smear DeSean Jackson as being a gang member right after trading him. Just horrible.
How come you never published Kemar being a bad guy before?
That report was the first Ive ever heard of your website. I thought it was weak and unethical. I, for one, will never look or aknowledge your site ever again.
If others enjoy your site. more power to them. Every person has the freedom to like what they please.
I see this as not a smear but a piece to a puzzle. I don't think of Kemar as a bad guy for not showing back up the quickest post international dates. Maybe that is part of negotiating tactic or he has lots of family commitments and he needs to take care of and NYRB were not flexible with extending his trips. So he did it intentionally or accidentally, got away with it and continued to do it or Jesse was ok with it but kinda put other people in awkward position. They put up with not the exemplary behavior because Kemar was excellent and a great teammate 99% of the time. Hard worker, motivated gave it his all kinda called others out for not working the hardest when they were at practice.
after last season he was unhappy over his pay and very much wanted to prove himself in Europe which he wanted to do it for years
No biggie. I did and continue to think well of him. Would welcome him back to the team.
If I had to have him someplace I'd probably hire a local person to make sure he makes the plane but I personally would have paid him 700K and made sure to keep him.
