I'd offer him about what he's making now and if he doesn't like it I'm good with him testing the free agent market. Good bench player but not a guy you overpay for imo

totally agree - would love it if he was a bench option and spot starter here and there.

Still think he is good enough to play in the top division in Portugal or Holland, maybe France. Glad they got this done.

Yes, I think that is apt from an on-field impact perspective. Maybe a slightly higher ceiling in MLS, with a slightly higher chance of things going awry because of questionable dedication to staying fit/focused. 

Would Gabigol be a Govinco like signing for us ?

I don't think he is quite as good as Giovinco was when he came to Toronto. Or Vela to LAFC, for that matter. However, I think he is an instant 15-18 goals and 5-7 assists in MLS, which is good for a top 10 or so player in the league.
