Flames suck it up in Season opener losing 3-1 to UAB. Flames were out played from the start and looked as if they never ever practiced, yet beat #9 NU last friday in an exhibition.

Sunday they play #20 MSU, we beat them in round of 32 last year of the tourney in PK's. REVENGE is on their minds and even though they did lose their attacking duo we have to show something or else we will start the season 0-2...and I have never been a part of that yet.

Probable Road Games that the FPF and other UIC fans will go to:
09/13/09 at Louisville Louisville, Ky. 4:00 p.m. CT (Fox Soccer Channel)
10/14/09 at Ohio State Columbus, Ohio 6:00 p.m. CT
10/24/09 at Loyola # Chicago, Ill. 7:00 p.m. CT

I AM A FAN OF THE CHICAGO FIRE. AS SUCH I BELIEVE YOUR TEAM IS INFERIOR TO OURS IN EVERY SINGLE WAY. IN FACT, I HEARD THAT YOUR TEAMS FANS COME FROM LOW-INCOME NEIGHBORHOODS AND HAVE HAD SEXUAL INTERCOURSE WITH FAMILY MEMBERS. IN CONTRAST AND IN SPITE OF ACTUAL EVIDENCE I BELIEVE THAT YOUR FANS HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN A FAIR AMOUNT OF SEXUAL ACTIVITY INVOLVING LIVESTOCK. OUR SUPPORTERS GROUP'S POWER OF RHETORIC IS SO MUCH MORE POWERFUL THAN YOURS. IN FACT OUR FANS HAVE HAD A ROMANTIC INTERLUDE WITH YOUR GOALKEEPER'S WIFE IN WHICH FELLATIO WAS PERFORMED FORTHWITH OVER A PERIOD OF HOURS. WE THEN PAID HER FOR HER SERVICES. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO INFORM FANS THAT OUR SUPPORTERS GROUP CONSUMES LARGE AMOUNTS OF ALCOHOL AND NARCOTICS IN AN EFFORT TO SHOW HOW POWERFUL AND FRIGHTENING WE CAN BE IN AN EFFORT TO INSTILL PSYCHOLOGICAL FEAR AMONG OPPOSING PLAYERS.

piss poor showing by UIC on Friday night... no wonder they dropped from the top 10 out of the top 25. Didn't catch the Sunday match, but I guess they tied Mich State on Sunday.

I can already tell they are missing Baggio. They have no one in the center of the pitch that is composed or effective on the ball. No 4 obviously is in the right spot, because he wins EVERYTHING in the air, seriously I haven't seen someone win that many balls in the air in a while, but the team has no confidence playing the ball to where their playmaker should be.

Oh, and that 3rd goal was a fucking disgrace. To get one back to 2-1 and then let a shambolloch (is that how you spell that word, i've always wondered) goal like slip by was childish.

UIC and #17 Louisville Tie 1-1 (2OT)

Overall this game was a lot like last Sundays game v MSU. UIC really didn't have many chances, until overtime came. This time however the Flames should have gotten their first win of the year with the pinball effect in the box off of a shot the ball fell to Stollie's foot (7yrds out) and he put it over the crossbar.

UIC will continue their road trip with 2 games @ UNLV vs the Rebels and v. UC-riverside. Then they open up Horizon League play @ Cleveland St. before returning to UIC on the 30th for our WHITE-OUT game v. the Wisconsin Badgers.
