4-2-2-2, I think now. Same lineup as last week, although I wouldn't mind DEJr up top with BWP.

Have we seen the 4-2-2-2 yet this year? I liked the look of the 5-3-2 we saw briefly, I think against Xolos?

It got me to but two. Those tix are only in certain upper bowl sections.

I was thinking that the attendance issue might be a bit of ccl hangover. How many of the two "free" tix that were bundled with the chivas match will go unused?

But they will report those tickets as sold, and they STILL will have horrifically weak sales numbers.   We just suck at attendance, end of story.

I'd like to see a 4231

With maybe Etienne starting out wide on the left and Muyl on the right and Valot and Adams behind Royer...

Then bring on Kaku at the half for Muyl or Etienne...

Or if possible play a 4141 which at times will look like 433

In the 4141 while attacking Adams would be behind Muyl on the left ,Royer Kaku central and Davis on the right

With Muyl and Davis pressing hard and covering ground and allowing Royer and Kaku to play centrally and find a spot between their midfielders and defenders.

I think Kaku and Royer are key and need to be central with the liberty to try to float a little wide or run into the box and stay high at times but wide while to combine with each other to get in a shooting position or find BWP in a shooting position.

So at times the 4141 will be a 433 with Davis and Muyl dropping back to help their fullbacks defend the perimeter or both dropping back to help Adams... I think for this line up he'll have to do this 4141 because

One he knows sometimes the personnel require a different formation but can still keep the high tempo press,ie last year 3331

Two, the press works in MLS.. And Davis and. Muyl are proven to be the one's that have bought into it the most and have the motors to pull it off.

3 this allows the most talented players, BWP, Kaku and Royer closet to goal.

Plus it also is very flexible

With this 4-1-4-1 while pressing can be a. 4-1-4-1 when sitting deep to defend or

Can be a 4-3-3 when defending the counter attack. Or even a 4312or 43111 when defending the counter and it's not going to be asking guys ti dramatically reinvent themselves
I just want Metro to win a title sometime in my lifetime.

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Lovely, they just announced that game 5 for Devils vs Tampa is at 3pm on Saturday, probably selling my tickets for this one now. Would have been perfect if one of these games was at 7pm. So annoying

I dont think well see any changes for this one, Valot was motm so harsh to bench him after that.

I already expect Muyl to start away in LA and against NYCFC, Maybe one of Adams or Davis sits this weekend for Ratz, but Im thinking I rate him higher than marsh which is strange as hes looked like a perfect 8 for our system.
