considering who Portland signs during every transfer window, i can't argue against that statement.

Guy must really hate the US if he is so insistent of playing in England he'll play in the depths of hell that is lower league English football.

Rotherham? Why not come to MLS? Does he not think he is good enough for MLS and decided to play in league one?

He thinks that he is more likely to move up to higher English leagues from Rotherham. He is wrong.

Rotherham salaries in the Championship totaled £8.7M.

I would expect League One to be half that.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Indeed. They were just relegated from the Championship to League One. Their trajectory is headed in the wrong direction.

If I was him, I would of signed a 1 or 2 yr contract with an MLS team... specifically... rbny. His position is a position in need. Has 1 or two good years and he can go to a better euro team. Or get paid in MLS or mex team. Signing for rotherham is like signing for the cosmos.

I'd imagine that any MLS team would try to lock him down to something ridiculous like 3 years with a club option at the league minimum.  League One is oof, but you can't really blame someone for avoiding the league if they really just want to play in Europe.

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Olosunde's agency is Omni-Sports. They have about 100 clients and maybe a handful of them are outside of England with one or two total outside Europe. Zero in MLS. A bunch of guys with ManU all the way down through 4th or 5th division English clubs.

Not surprised he stayed there.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.
