Yeah, what was up with that? I'm not complaining, just surprised as hell. Was it like one of the give-a-chimp-a-keyboard-and-he'll-eventually-give-you-War-and-Peace moments? Or is there someone working the PA that knows that's what (some of) LARS digs?did anyone else notice the PA playing "a few good men" before the game sunday?
it's a start..
Any of the group formerly known as the Best XI know the entertainment crew on the inside? Do tell.

You might have a friend on the inside, who tries to do the best they can with what they are given. However, refering to them as a chimp with a keyboard might not help your cause. Also, people flipping off the camera when it comes around to your section does not help their efforts to get you more exposure.
Have fun today and GO GALAXY!!

Or maybe a friend with a not very perceptive sense of humor..?You might have a friend on the inside, who tries to do the best they can with what they are given. The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which "unskilled people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it." The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

No, deffinately one with a sense of humor(For instance the Kljestan poster tonight was priceless). Just a tad defensive, because their actions could lead to them not being in a positon to sneak in a little something for the squad. Just trying to let you know they are doing the best they can.Or maybe a friend with a not very perceptive sense of humor..?

OK... ETZ emailed me the song and it's right here for you to listen.
However, I propose keeping as close to the original except for two words:
Say hey Galaxy, the battle call
united we stand, divided we fall
Together we are what we can't be alone
We came to this city, you made it our home
It'll be an extreme uphill battle, but I'm willing to start it and lead it if others will join in. Hell, I'm still trying to make A FEW GOOD MEN a staple of LARS to some medium success.
RTB is right... the worst that happens is nothing happens. We'll try it....

Last year didnt try it after all, but keep hearing Dropkick played on the PA so thought could give it another shot. We have a week to learn this, Tommy can you get the link up and working again? Here's a link to Yoo tube its between seconds 15-29
I will be bringing small lyric sheets to the game so hopefully this can become something great
I was thinking we can do the chorus 3 times with the clapping then once without

Alright I printed out 180 copies of the song so hopefully this can happen tonight
I still think this is a good idea, but we simply have to simplify the meter. When dealing with 400 people, you can't explain to them what being "lazy on the beat" during a phrase means. In other words, going, "United...... we....................... stand, divided we fall" is a crowd killer. Let's put it on simple 4/4 measuring and keep it a simply chant. It's the one single thing that killed it at the last home game.
Trust me on this.
I say we try again in Vic Park.
