Ummm... it was equal. MLS was counting every dollar back then. In fact, he was forced to trade Ricardo Clark to be allowed to sign Youri Djorkaeff.

Regardless what you think of him he has been consistently successful in multiple places at club level (leaving aside cuova)
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.
