I was going to say the same thing. The thought of it makes me cringe. I'm assuming it was Open Cup PK's.

4:1 win over Revs where we were up 3:0 very early. His PK came late in the game.

Second was in the OC win over Philly.

Does this include post-extra time PKs? How the hell did Petke get a PK otherwise?

Yes. His came in the 2000 Open Cup shootout vs Columbus. It went 8 rounds. Petke went 8th and had the winner:

MetroStars - Valencia (goal); Crew - Warzycha (goal);
MetroStars - Walsh (goal); Crew - McBride (goal);
MetroStars - Chung (goal); Crew - Perez (goal);
MetroStars - Jolley (goal); Crew - Joseph (goal);
MetroStars - Ramos (saved); Crew - Farrell (saved);
MetroStars - Corrales (goal); Crew - Aguilera (goal);
MetroStars - Shak (goal); Crew - Yeagley (goal);
MetroStars - Petke (goal); Crew - Lapper (wide right).

Interestingly, the 3 players who did not kick were Tim Howard, Julian Gomez(!!!), and... Lothar.

Wonder what the playoff percentage is?    I can only think of misses. Can't recall one successful.

He's due for a miss

The most memorable. And horrible.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
