I'm having a hard time pinpointing what was so different yesterday compared to the SJ game, except for Orlando being a little less of a dumpster fire of a team. Just not enough quality with the final touch into the box, I felt like guys were getting in good positions but crosses weren't finding a teammate.

Dax didn't get booed. He got cheered, and then went around signing autographs after the game and went all the way around the stadium, even after everyone left. Then one of the Chicago trainers came to call him to the locker room, dax waved him away and kept signing.

Dax was a universally loved player for his work ethic and leadership on the field. Guys like him, JPA, Tim Howard get respected after they leave.

Sacha was nowhere near the level of the guys above. He didn't track back on D, lost a step, and was good for a dozen key turnovers per game. And now he's an opponent - we're supposed to cheer him for that? No thanks. Glad the fans are smart enough to respect the real club legends.

(Jozy and Bradley could have been at that level with this team, but after the WCQ debacle of last cycle, any visiting USMNT player deserves the boos. And if Howard comes to RBA this year I'd be curious if he gets booed as well.)

Considering a portion of out fanbase turns on our players WHILE THEY ARE STILL ON THE TEAM, this is not a surprise.

Exactly, I was at that game too. I have no idea where this nonsense about booing Dax came from.

To add to the Jozy stuff after missing the world cup is him acting like a fucking ass clown in the 2017 playoffs against us and he can go fuck himself forever. He never won shit here with us, same with Bradley and I will never spend a single dollar on a team USA game if those two shit bags are on the roster.

As soon as I saw this comment, I decided not to strain my eyes reading it. Who knows, you may have had a point, but unless it is presented in a coherent manner, I will not read it.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I didn't boo when Dax was here for that game, but I did stand in the front row of 101 and turned my back to him as he walked by.

Didn't Kljestan say something when he first went to Orlando about Red Bull Arena being quiet or now getting to play in front of louder fans? I'm pretty sure he did, can't find the article though

His tenure here was not perfect, but he twice led the league in assists and was huge in getting the shield. The man deserves more respect than some are willing to give.

we are so reliant on crosses to generate offensive opportunities in general and its even more apparent when Kaku isn't playing.  Maybe its still early in the season but we aren't sharp enough technically right now.  Maybe to counter this Armas needs to play a "ball-carrier" somewhere in the front 4 to give us another dimension.

He had some bad scheduling, if we played Orlando a different week or didn't win the shield against them last year everyone would gave him a nice round of applause.

I like stache but it was hard to care much about showing him some appreciation when we just won another shield at the same time.

They had an interview with him on MSG, and he said he was very happy that we won the shield and rooted for us in the playoffs.

Agree

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

maybe he should've slapped some teammates while he was captain so that he could be worshiped by more of the fanbase.
