Okay, so, with the Shield on the line, Leonardo's in back, and Keane is out with "a nagging injury".  So, yeah.

Starters;  Penedo; Gargan, AJDLG, Leonardo, Rogers; Ishizaki, Sarvas, Juninho, Husidic; Donovan, Zardes

Subs:  Rowe, Meyer, Sorto, Garcia, Walker, Villarreal, Gordon

0-0 at halftime.  Between the ultra-chippiness and the carpeting the game has zero flow.  Gs have somewhat better of the opportunities, but nothing to make the Refunders' keeper work very hard.

As we pass the 75 minutes mark, I'm wondering if Bruce is saving all his subs for the playoffs, too.

Here we go; Gordon in for Husidic at 81 minutes.  By waiting until now, his legs ought to be really, really fresh.

Crap - whoever was supposed to mark Pappa loses his at 84 minutes.

Villarreal in for Gargan at 87 minutes.

Deep in stoppage time, Pappa shoves Penedo down outside the box, steals the ball and scores into an empty net.  How the fucking goddamn fuck is that not a foul?  Not that it matters to the outcome, but that is one dirty team in radioactive green and the league is cool with it.  Playoffs next.
