Atlanta wins 2-0 to advance to and host the ECF. Finally, a break for that tortured fanbase.

LA derby about to kick off.
Twellman says this the biggest game in the world today.
Meanwhile, it is bumped to ESPN2 by a college football game between two Texas schools.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

How does LAFC have so many fans? Hard to imagine people weren't LAG fans given how good they've always been. I guess outside looking in people wouldn't understand how NYCFC got more fans unless they lived here

Same concept as NYCFC fans here. LAFC plays in downtown LA, the Galaxy play in the outskirts.

2nd LAFC goal certainly seemed offside. VAR lets it go.

Oh well, LAFC got this one, so it's down to LAFC, Seattle, TFC and Atlanta.

I've got no interest in watching any more of that, so I guess it's 'see you next year, MLS.'

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

dunno, as much as i don't like any of these teams, as a neutral, it's fun to watch teams that spend.

Taylor has always been an ass hat. This game won't change anything in the terms of MLS popularity. I doubt the ratings were even that great.

This was funny. I was momentarily annoyed and embarrassed by the switch, but exactly then a guy scored a 90-yard touchdown and it all made sense.

i'll beat this to death i'm sure, but imagine bringing a guy like Diomande off the bench who can score 2 goals (including one where he pretty much made something out of absolutely nothing with a brilliant solo run and finish).

meanwhile, we bring on...hard working guys.
