Why are people choosing the 5 pm wave?? The party closes 3 hours after the START final wave. It will take at least an hour for most people to finish, maybe longer. So you will have under 2 hours of free beer drinking. Doesn't it make sense to do an earlier wave and drink free beer all afternoon?

Not sure if they changed it for this year, but last year, everyone got a ONE free beer coupon attached to their race bib (Make sure you don't lose it in the mudpit!). More beers after that were extra, maybe about 4 bucks each?

On a somewhat related note, I felt so bad for this one guy last year. People who had come to watch told me that he was one of the first few people through, like in the top 10, when he came to the mudpit. Not only did he then lose his shoe in the mudpit, but lost the shoe with the chip on it, so he spent the next twenty minutes looking for his shoe and attempting to free it.

World Cup Schedule for June 19th (central time)
Netherlands vs Japan 6:30 AM
Ghana vs Australia 9:00 AM
Cameroon vs Denmark 1:30 AM

Will only miss the afternoon game if we were to do a wave between 1 and 3 which I think will work well.

because the earlier waves are full and I know most of Section 8 are lazy and wont get around till signing up at the last second

also close enuf to the end that we can hang out for a bit and then make our way to the city for additional beer drinking

If the earlier waves are full, then I guess we don't have a choice. But the beer at the even is free so the earlier we get to the free beer the better. Additionaly beer drinking costs money.

Ohmigod! Do you really have to jump over the fire?  What if you fell down?  You could get burned really badly.  And look at those hay bales that you have to climb over: THAT could really set off my allergies!  Come to think of it, what if you were to fall off the cargo net?  That thing is tall!  You could break your ankle, or even worse!  And how about those so-called "Tunnels of Terror": have they considered for a moment that some of us might get a little claustrophobic?  Don't get me started on this "Muddy Mayhem" thing: those stains must be practically impossible to get out of your clothes.

Don't mind me, I'm just practicing for the Worrier Dash.

Let's face it we have a much better chance at best costume than best time. If only there was an old Sparky suit laying around.

Rental Insurance?!?
