game tied at 0 in the 85th minute. do you want Alex Muyl fumbling over his own 2 feet in the corner because he has no left foot? or would you rather have DE7 there try to make something out of nothing 1v1?
I think Muyl sucks, and the obvious answer to your question is Muyl.

Yep, Have needed speed and athleticism in the front 4 for a while now. Royer is great but even he's not fast. BWP has never been a burner and nobody we have ever had at the 10 is fast. Sims is the perfect type of addition. He doesn't seem comfortable finishing which sucks, but he's never good in every other aspect that this team needs.
On Muyl though, can anyone explain to me why that foul from Bedoya wasn't a penalty? I'll be honest and say I didn't think so at first look, but the damn replay was a crystal clear penalty I thought.
Because Muyl has a reputation for diving and way oversold the contact.

Hes terrible. I watched him when he came on the scene a couple of years ago. Hes bad.
Bite your tongue though, while Alexi Lalas still has a job. I literally havent heard a word hes said on the air in a decade. I literally turn the channel every single time hes on TV. Such a shame because he was such a gutsy player.
Lalas is what Warshaw strives to be, but he's somehow both worse at it and more insufferable. If Warshaw was on actual TV, people would hate him even more than they hate Lalas.
Just caught up to the game and this thread and am so thoroughly confused as to why the conversation is about Buckmaster and the Omir sub when we had a billion super high quality scoring chances from inside the 18 yard box and only posted one. The finishing was hot garbage, Royer alone had TEN (!!!) shots and scored zero even if he did come close several times.
If this game ends 5-1 like it should have, are we still honestly complaining?
I missed this one, so I can't comment specifically, but xG was 2.89-0.55 in our favor. That's a huge margin for a draw.
Lol the call to sign a replacement outside back is so revisionist when Murillo was All star in 2018 and we had a legit backup who would be working way back from injury and looked very good preinjury. Yes everyone knows path back from injury is variable - for every Valot who looked great you have someone who looks not as good or takes 1-1.5 years to come back if ever
I swear that half of this board wants us to spend 75% of our salary budget on fullbacks.
