...we understand Joshs wishes to be closer to home...

Dennis blaming Sims is the icing on the cake.

What are the odds there is no announcement?

Gonzalo Veron never got a thank you tweet, Josh Sims will be ignored as if he never played for RBNY

as if he deserves all that praise.

You make it seems like hes a Metro legend up there with BWP, Henry, and Robles. He played like half a season on loan with us.

The problem is not how good Sims is or isn't. The problem is that every other team is improving, while we're standing pat (or regressing).

Well, if we're going to stand pat, this is as good a season as any to do it.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Very different skill sets too, I could have seen those two splitting a lot of time over the season depending on the opponent.

Sims is under contract with an EPL club, he's not coming to MLS to split time.

How much time will he get, back at Soton?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I'm told that the depth at winger is sufficient, as well. Why bother improving, n'est-ce pas mes amis?

Josh was good, now he is gone.  Can we cancel the season?

Behind Kaku and Valot in the 2 attackers behind the strikers we have Omir, Muyl, Mines, and Stroud.

Yeah, not exactly promising. Alex is a late game sub, Mines Im writing off, Stroud has never played at a level higher than USL, and Omir hasnt played much at all in the past year.

The team obviously thought it was an area of concern last season (with Valot injured), and again this offseason giving Sims a trial period to see if he could stick as a DP.

Depth is in fact very good, we just lack quality starters!

In a perfect world without the Covid 19 Sims could have shown his true talent or lack of it. IMO he did just ok as a metro.

That  was the reason that this second loan period was essential to determine if he was worth time and money to keep him in NY.

I'm hopeful that either players on the squad can play as well or better than him. If that is not the case then after the Florida tournament is over then other options must be explored.
