$50k is nothing.
150k is nothing
astute observation but thanks for sharing my tweet that is just stating factshttps://twitter.com/...O7Gse5XYjw&s=19
$50k is nothing.
before MLS free agency this time of MLS offseason was the most boring thing ever. Thank goodness the players union got free agency. Etienne to Atlanta would be a good move for them. They always have a ton of risk in their attacking part roster (which hasnt worked lately), need a couple guys there that are proven MLS commodities.

Let's see how many opportunities to acquire a forward pass us by then go into preseason with Klimala and Barlow battling it out for the starting role until being "active in the next window".
Stage 1 of the Re Entry Draft went by. We didn't select anyone. Sowe and Ryan also went unselected (as did Ben Mines).
Stage 2 re-entry!
We passed.
Bobby Wood went to New England.
Ben never got to settle with cincy. Kept getting hurt. I can see st.louis picking him up.
Unfortunately, this has been the story of his career thus far. Very fragile. He grew a little bit but even at the USL level, he kept getting beat up even when out on loan thus year.
Hindsight 20/20, that full ride to Stanford was probably the better direction for his career.
More of a front office roster movement than an actual roster movement, but Garth Lagerway to Atlanta is a bummer for the Eastern Conference. He's moving to ATL because Arthur Blank is going to write the checks Garth wants to sign the players he thinks he should put on the field. Can't help but feel jealous that ATL is bringing in a consistently successful guy, and we're sitting here talking about whether de Grandpre is moving to Houston & whether Schneider and Hamlett can find enough quality on our Wal-Mart budget to get the job done. Arrgh, this team.

Right now, Hamlett and De Grandpre could be doing some "Easy Scouting" just by watching the World Cup games. How about this for a novel idea, go after players that are on WC national team rosters to fill spots on this "Joke" team. It will cost some money, but it will at least show the fanbase, whatever is left of it, that you care, that you want to build a team that can win an MLS Cup.
Serge Ngoma is still in Salzburg training with Liefering/Salzburg.
Odds he never plays another minute for RBNY? Theyll throw us a pittance and then sell him for a multi million dollar fee in a couple of years.

Guys have been doing offseason training stints with the Euro teams for awhile, I wouldn't read into it. Davis and Adams were invited to train with Leipzig a few years before Adams was transferred, and Davis obviously stuck around.
