I'm with you. Having watched every USL game, he makes A LOT of mistakes.
I get the "ceiling is high" conversation, but he couldn't move past Collin and Escobar in the depth chart and honestly, a case could be made that Politz and Scarlett looked better than he did for a lot of games this season in the USL.

The dude gave me a heart attack every time he had the ball at his feet in the NYCFC Open Cup match.

you can't teach 6'4 210, but you can teach mechanics/positioning.  thought Ndam could have grown into his own on the 1st team this year.

we are in a bind since at least 75% of our back line are automatic callups to their national teams (right now i think one of Long/Parker will be consistently called up to the Nats, but not both).

i liked escobar but given that he'll miss the same # of games as murillo (with the Panama nats), it seems unlikely to bring him back.

Wont be a problem during the new format playoffs next year right?

If so, Im fine with it.

Sucks to have a guy just plucked from you that you've spent a couple of years trying to bring him through but that MLS rules and you gotta deal with it. I have faith that we can bring along another youth CB prospect through the RB2 ranks be it from the academy or a youth international player.

Ndam looked like a good prospect but he is still raw and struggles with the ball at his feet. Good size and physicality but a long ways to go to be a MLS starter I believe. Not a devastating loss to our roster.
