HDC: Home of Legends, Home of Champions

I am truly thankful G's, that we got this far after losing to the Railhawks earlier this year. But now, let's go ALL THE WAY.

Last year's Cup was special and confirmation for a great TEAM: Bruce, Landon, Becks and the boys.

Posted Image

This year, it might mean even more. Because, this year it's for a CLUB.

Despite what others my delude themselves with, WE are the pride of MLS.

Posted Image

Of course, we do have a sibling rivalry to deal with on December 1st.

And, we're having a goodbye party for Sir David Beckham before he joins that retirement league overseas.

But, primary overall is getting that 4th Star.

So incredibly much this.

I guess we also have the opportunity to give the Railhawks some pretty epic bragging rights.

On this Thanksgiving Day, I am so glad, I just booked my damn flight.

I was seriously depressed when I had to watch the Cup Final last year in a bar with a bunch of DC & NY fans.

I'm not sure what to make of this Houston team. Been watching some highlights and it looks like Brad Davis is their man. For those that have seen a few of their matches, who should the G's be on the lookout for? Bruin, Moffat or is it Moffet? Davis of course. They've had mixed results the past two months but seem to be playing some good soccer at the moment. Hmmm, prediction to come later next week. Gotta see more of this team in action. To the Interwebs!

This Dynacrap team is scary. Hopefully this article rings true. Davis/Bruin combo needs to be put on check. Keeping Davis off of his left foot is a good start. Hall needs to be tested often. Let's get that 4th star!

As Mike Magee says, Houston is definitely more formidable this year. They have better balance as a team. They have a good mix of veterans and contributing new guys. Davis is healthy. The kid Will Bruin is scoring goals. Rico is back. The wildcard I believe is Boniak. He scares me. Kinnear isn't afraid and neither will his team be. Plus, it's Brian Ching's Farewell Tour.

The Dynamo offense is pretty much ran through this dude. Adam Moffat and Garcia provide some support in the attack, but Davis is the primary catalyst.

Whoever is lined up on the right side of midfield should be tasked with containing him and his left foot. If Beckham is penciled in at RM, I would assume the responsibility will fall to either Sarvas or Juninho.

Will Bruin has been scoring some goals, but cut off his supply and he is no threat.

Geoff Cameron is gone, but the Dynamo have coped well with his loss. Still though, their backline is not as solid as it was last year and going at hotheads like Rico Clark and Andrew Hainault (if he plays) may produce a card or two.

I'm kind of stoked.

I'm way too anxious.

Saturday can't come soon enough..

If AJ says he's almost at 100%, if you're Bruce, do you start him for the Cup even though he hasn't played a game in a long while?

Almost 100%?

One person's "almost" may be another person's "not even close," so unless he is deemed 100% fit to play then no.

Besides, I think Meyer has earned the chance to play in the final.
