When I first got this idea, I thought, "Showtunes? No way!"
But then "You'll Never Walk Alone" is pretty damn cheesy, too. C'mon, 'Pool supporters. Don't try to tell us it's not.
So....
Original:
Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Deutschland is happy and gay
We're marching to a faster pace
Look out, here comes the Master Race
Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Winter for Poland and France
Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Come on Germans, go into your dance.
LA style:
Springtime for LA, the Galaxy
Southland is happy today
We're marching to a VICtory
Look out here comes the GALaxy
Springtime for LA, the Galaxy
Winter for Chivas and Smurfs
Springtime for LA, the Galaxy
Come on LA, now go kick, some ass.
In case you don't know the tune start at 25 secs... I'm sure LuvKeane knows it inside out.

But...this is pretty awesome.
Hopefully the boys will be up something like four or five goals, and we'll be in a more open-minded mood.

I hear ya.Ordinarily, this wouldn't be the week for new shit. Too intense, man.
I was gonna hold off but when the line about "Winter for Chivas" popped into my head I couldn't resist. I'll just sing it to myself for now but I expect some chart topping by June.

I could see that actually working, if you add enough beer to the singers, I have heard songs like Pink Floyd, The Wall being used as soccer chants!
