Tom Barlow is out to prove to almost everyone that we don't work on the sporting side of professional soccer for a reason.

But not me... no... I have always been a firm believer in Mr. Thomas Barlow from as far back as a couple days ago.

watching him live for 2 games he still had some Barlow moments we have come to know and love but he also looked a more refined player

Props to him to putting the work in, hope it works out. Im willing to give him a shot this season before preemptively slagging him off. We have plenty of depth where if things dont go right again its not as big of an issue.

I honestly don't understand this at all, or Barlow. Barlow isn't good enough to be on this team, let alone starting. Plus, converting him to a CB? Why? He's 27 years old and we're supposed to have excellent youth teams. We should give a chance to a young guy instead of trying to convert him. In general, I don't see anything positive about him. Yeah, he runs around a lot, but he has no skill on the ball whatsoever. Barlow reminds me of that person you played with when you were younger who didn't know how to play the game but was a good athlete so he got by. Was more into baseball than soccer. lol Honestly, the fact that Struber started him the first two games really makes me start to question his player selection.

I wouldn't read too much into any of it tariq. The CB thing is mostly a joke among fans and he only started the first two games because Burke and Vanzeir weren't ready to start. He is solidly fourth on the depth chart this year.
