We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
San Jose in a back and forth with Dallas right now. 3-3 in the 59'.
SJ also beat Dallas, in Dallas, 3-1 a few weeks ago.
San Jose beats Dallas 4-3. Atlanta travels there on 9/19, that may not be as easy of a fixture for Atlanta as some may think.

Dallas is also starting to climb up the standings. We need to win our fixtures or they will be relevant in the shield race.
Them and SKC are both still relevant, as SKC has only played 26 games.
Hartford home to New England tonight and home to DC on Saturday. They probably need 6 points in order to keep themselves in the thick of the Shield race.
i can see them beating the Revs @ Home on that stupid excuse for a field, but losing vs DC on Sat. If that happens, DC would have done us 2 huge solids (beating ATL and NYC)...does that make us friends??
Smurfs lose, 1-0! Remain 7 points behind us.Hartford home to New England tonight.

We are in great shape to, at the bare minimum, secure a first round bye. Even on games played and 7 points behind us!
We also are now even in games played with them and tied on points in the CCL Aggregate Standings.

This is good. It will be cold comfort that we will make CCL if Atlanta wins MLS cup, but its better than nothing I guess.
Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Amazing 500th goal for Ibra:
https://www.bbc.com/...otball/45539970
"It was Ibrahimovic's 17th goal in 18 appearances for LA Galaxy since joining from Manchester United in March, making him the second highest scorer in MLS this season."
BBC need some better fact checkers - Though that quote was true on Sunday morning, 6 hours ago when that article was posted, BWPs hat trick had already taken him past Zlatan for 2nd most goals in MLS this season.
Still it was an amazing strike - He gets a lot of crap in the comments because he made a typical Zlatan statement after the game which his team lost, yet you see on that clip, he made that shot, put his head down, and ran back up the field.
Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.
