Our "try again" is Manoel.   If he doesn't get extended, our "try again" will be Ngoma.    Not sure how we'll replace Barlow.

They've been super active the last two winters, I don't think they'll rest on their laurels if Manoel proves he's not the guy. Or at least a guy.

In 2019, we tried to replace BWP with Mathias Jorgensen. Oops.
In 2020, we tried Samuel Tetteh. Oops.
In 2021, we tried Patryk Klimala and Fabio. Oops.
In 2022, we tried Ashley Fletcher and Elias Manoel. Oops.

Wasnt White the 2019 replacement for BWP? I didnt think Jorgensen was supposed to replace BWP that first season. Still failure overall, but for 2020 or 2021 season.

Jorgensen was until he wasn't.

Off-season needs will be: 2 forwards, CM (if ccj leaves), 1 or 2 cbs, and 2 fullbacks.

I dont see Manoel staying with his price tag unless he proves us wrong.

It is pretty incredible that Klimala is going to score even fewer goals this year than he did last year.

Should the question be rephrased from "Will Klimala score for Metro again?" to "Will Klimala play for Metro again?"

They should be exhausting all opportunities to unload him. Its not going to work here for the resources that have been committed. Sunk cost.

His price tag is rather moot point. We don't need another scrub, we need some capable players in here who can score.

Montreal did such a smart move brining in Kei Kamara. teams gave up on him since he is 38. he accepted his role as a back up forward and  scored 8 goals and 7 assists.

this is the type of band aid move we needed to do just in case klimala failed. its okay to give kids and high potential guy chances but you also need to have a vet to help guide the ship when things get rough. now, we are just suffering.

This is the league minimum vet signing I would have been totally down for.

BWP is in the building. Too late now, but someone should have asked him to run some laps over the summer just in case...
