Been blindsided by soccer balls before. Stings for a few mins. Its not something that is going to cause serious injury. The people hit are surely fine. In comparison, throwing a baseball in the crowd could definitely cause serious injury/broken bones. Thats all I'm saying. Don't think were gonna agree on this one though so it is what it is. The during play/not during play difference does make sense though I suppose

Could the suspension all be bigger because he went into the stands... regardless of intentions? It's a huge no-no in American sports, remember the Pacers-Pistons incident.

Kudos to the fans in that area with the "Asshole" chants.

An added 3 games is less than what he should have gotten.

Must never have sinned because damn are you ready to cast the first stone.

The exact same kick could have been done from someone clearing a ball. Its only a soccer ball. He went up and apologized immediately. Red card (1 game suspension) was enough. Just my opinion...Anyway, cant see him starting in the playoffs as his first game back now...

.

The girls head got absolutely rocked, "it's only a soccer ball" doesn't apply when the average speed of a pro soccer players shot is 60mph. This wasn't a thrown in.

Can see here how much her face got rocked...

An additional two games seemed right to me, three in total. He could have returned for the season finale. Oh well. Have to plan the remainder of the season, including playoffs, without him. He may be done as a Red Bull.

Holy shit that's bad. We're out of central midfielders, who even plays next to Edelman?

CCJ is on the list with a knee injury. Good call on Sserwadda

The only thing I'm getting out of this year at this point is just experience for some of the young guys. They can't win a trophy so I don't see much to hope for.
