GSU and VA...fuck that shit

I don't know if I will go that far, but I don't understand. The whole goal is to support the team. ESC has never been about telling people how or how not to support. Why did some feel the need to start their own group and try to out-do fellow supporters? If the South Ward were a sports team, business, or regiment in the military we would lose every game, go out of business, or be shot to hell as we all ran in circles. It's embarrassing.

Reminder. The goal of SGs is to support the team.

I don't care how many SGs exist, under the SW umbrella.

I just wish that everyone could sing in unison and harmony.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

This is becoming less and less the focus and has been for several seasons.

What has replaced that decreasing focus on supporting the team?

What I see is everyone has a different idea on how to best support the team and of course everyone's idea is the best one for them. Which inevitably leads to infighting but other than that I don't see how the sg's focus has changed in the last few years as you claim.

Sometimes I think the entire Red Bull existence has been some 19 year old kids football manager save file he only plays when he comes home drunk. - 'Mibabalou'

I'm always in the South Ward and never get to listen to it from afar. But, from up in 228 on Saturday, it sounded really good and in unison all match, for the most part. Unless the extreme cold and alcohol made me delusional.
Hopefully it keeps up like this.

I have to agree with this. My statement is a slight add-on that says in an effort to focus on their own style, at times some of the groups have lost track of the main mission. Obviously shouting shit like Nachos Libre during Vamos Metro and a firm stance to not work with other groups is not productive to supporting the team. That being said it is also focusing on themselves and pushing their own style. I am glad to see the last post from General Robles. I couldn't be there but am glad to hear it sounded good!

There are way too many people in all 3 sections who just don't sing or even bother to clap their hands. I don't blame the supporters groups for this, you can't make people participate when they don't want to.

You can, but most would not approve of the methods used.
