Why? Just because you dont like baseball?
More Americans like baseball than soccer.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Because it's an internet message board and I felt like making a joke about the athletic antonym of soccer.

I would need a Sherpa to find a joke in your comment.

Luckily I don't post for your amusement. Baseball sucks, get over it.

Bandwagon Fallacy

This is a community, and my posts get their share of likes and replies. As I tell teenagers often, IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT YOU.

And using bandwagon logic on a fan of this team? Laughable. It'd work well on an ATL board, though!

Baseball and Soccer are 2 of my favorite sports. For different reasons. Soccer is like a high speed chess match, has a rhythm and is incredibly hard to score. This is why in soccer goals are celebrated so intensely. Baseball is slower between plays. But there is a TON of strategy, a TON of skill of pitching and hitting even though it may not be the most athletic thing in the world. It is also a grind. 162 games over 6 months. Add 2 more months for postseason and spring training of baseball almost everyday. Baseball while mundane in August can be the most gutt wrenching thing to watch pitch by pitch in the postseason while every pitch could be the difference. Both sports are great. That is my 2 cents.

Meh, that page only breaks out the demographics for football.  Baseball is dying because the kids don't watch or play it as they did in the past.  It's still immensely popular, but as the chart in this link https://www.marketwa...nces-2017-06-30 shows, the avg age of baseball viewers is almost 57, versus the two youngest sports leagues, the NBA at 42 and MLS at 40.  The avg age of a baseball viewer rose 5 years from 2006 to 2016, after holding steady from 2000-2006.  This would suggest that the sport is struggling to attract the younger audience.

They complement each other in terms of muscles used. Baseball is mostly upper body and arms and hands. Limited use of the feet for sliding, running, jumping and getting set to hit or throw. Soccer is mostly about stamina, running, kicking, heading and quick mental adjustments done by yourself. Together they cover the whole body.
