2 USL cup winning players will be starting tonite for USMNT.

That really is a bigger deal than it may seem

Academy product, Alex Bobocea added to the goalkeepers list on the USL website. He's trained with the team numerous times the past few years. Still academy loan eligible, so this makes sense.

Amarildo was also added to the roster. Janos Loebe still hasn't been formally added to the USL roster. Could be a Visa issue, or simply a miss from the USL website. He has, however, been added to the official team website #66.

1:1 draw with Nashville. Brian White goal from an Epps cross. Very physical and direct game didn't allow for many players to stand out. Mike Grella was in attendance. Heard he was calling the game.

Edgardo Rito made his debut. Mixed thoughts on him so far, but good overall.

Alex Bobocea was the backup keeper for Louro today. Nuhu was sitting with the players not in uniform again.

For me personally, proud Dad moment on getting my son to his first match and he loved it!

Louro
Buckmaster-Nealis-Scarlett-Rito
Lema-Casseres Jr.
Epps-Stroud-Etienne Jr.
White

Barlow, Mines and Elney were subs used.

The grey jersey will be for sale this week. Also nicer than the first teams' new one.

Curious to see how long Armas can manage minutes for these wingers because guys like Etienne and Epps are not going to take playing for the 2's much longer.

The early CCL exit makes it harder, while Valot's injury made it easier.   Looks like Omir and Muyl are 1 and 2, and everyone else will have to make a case for themselves via USOC or  injuries.

In the first two matches, Denis Hamlett, Marc DeGrandpre, and CJ Brown have all been on site and sitting with the players not in uniform. They certainly have been watching the guys who standout. Epps has to get the nod next. He's been very solid all around.

Yes, he is. Close to coming back but even still, he may rate below Kilwien. Can't argue Scarlett and Nealis right now, although Nealis' blunder allowed the Nashville goal.

Thanks

I agree with Nealis poor back pass (header) , i also thought Louro could have been more aggressive in covering the ball

I had purchased an extra USL red jersey (Mens XL) for someone, who ended up bailing and hasn't responded to my messages. If anyone is looking for an XL, PM me. Could likely make a decent profit on it on ebay, but karma, so same $75 I was charged. Hand off in person preferred.

Finally watched the RB2 game due to apathy from the 1st team and busy week.

Thought Epps was the stand out, was disappointed in Stroud and Lema. Blunder by Nealis is expected Im still not as high on him as others, thought Louro made a good save but rest of game was poor.

Overall B- performance, Nashville is a top 4 east team so I'm happy.

But I would expect better knowing out front 4 was 3 1st team guys I expected more.

Tonight vs Memphis. Should get an idea on who traveled with the 1st team.

Im kind of hoping Epps gets a chance with 1st team hes been good. Pointless guess for tonight.

White
Stroud - Mines - Epps
Koffi - Lema
Yanes - Scarlett - Nealis - Buckmaster
Louro

it has the looks of a standard RB2 lineup, maybe a guess, but seems fine.

then again, early days...Woly could field something almost entirely different.

per Joe Goldstein earlier, he mentioned RB2 will most likely go 4-4-2, looking like this, I think:

Barlow White

Stroud Lema Koffi Mines

Rito Scarlett Nealis BuckBuckBuck

Louro

Epps and DeJr only 1st teamers on the bench. RBSaoPaolo player also on the subs bench.
