Monzon cant stay healthy, and wasnt used before he was injured so Im going to guess not him.
Really dont think they can pick up the buy option when hes on a U22 initiative spot and hes provided nearly zero value.

Crucial addition right now. Any word on how good he is? 6'8" CB could be a threat on corners if he's halfway athletic and skilled.

He'll get some quality dev time with RB2, that incubator of talent designed to perfectly simulate the well-oiled machine and winning mentality of the first squad.

Roster page also has Long with "Season Ending Injury", so let's hope that's not right.

Never updated it from last year, and is starting for USMNT tomorrow.

The roster page is rarely correct, however the LaCava signing, Edelman signing, the Sowe loan, Clark's return, etc... were all captured first on the roster site before a team announcement. The problem is they rarely update things such as Loaned Out, Season Ending Injury, etc...

The navy finally sorted out the paper work for nocita and he finally joins the team. Looking forward to seeing him with Red Bulls 2.
A senior CB spot just opened up

Hes already listed on the supplemental roster on the roster pages. Not getting a senior spot right off the bat.

If we don't officially sign Nocita this year, do we lose his rights? That would be somewhat hilarious.

No. We hold his rights until December 31st, 2023 due to the "College Protected List" rule. There is a chance we still land Seth Kuhn next year based on that too.
If Michael Knapp had a great year with NYRBII (he has not), Austin could sign him to a MLS deal since they drafted him but he did not sign with the league. This was why Dan Metzger (DC United) and Chris Lema (FC Dallas) were brought back on USL deals for a couple years before getting a MLS deal.
The exception is if the team waives the player, allowing them to sign anywhere or trades for minimal GAM (i.e. $50k).

So, we traded up to draft him, he applied for and received a deferral, yet did not sign?
Did he want to play at all? With us?
If so, what did he want to sign?
Are all SuperDraft contracts signed with the league?
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
