Has a player gone from "sell him for what you can get" to "wow you add something to the team" faster than Veron?

He was "sell him for what you can get" for at least a year...

It took, like, two games for Luke Rodgers to be chalked up as a waste. Then, two more games to become a fan favorite.

Maybe we can see him from the start for once?

Veron is 20% of the way to earning my love. At this rate I will love him by mid-September.

Ride the hot hand.  Let's give Muyl a rest and let Gonzalo handle the wing for a couple of weeks.  Him and Royer have been our two best players now for over a month.

Veron has been a DARLING lately, but I will NOT fall for this one hit wonder hook/line/sinker! He's a STINKER still, but he has improved. Stroke of good luck or finally coming around after a couple of years? To be decided.

In the last four regular season MLS matches, we are 3-1 and Veron has a goal and three assists in 65 minutes.  A lot of his production in this run has been critical - he assisted on the winning goal in the Philly match, scored the winning goal in the NE match, and did everything but get the assist for the winning goal in SJ match.

And go back and see what people said about BWP when he arrived!

or Luke Rodgers for that matter. Shit how long did it take for Peguy to get in our good graces?

Well that was because Fraiser or Petke realized how great of a #10 he was and put him in the middle of the field. Dude couldn't he net for nothing his first like 10 games.

Luyindula had that awesome pass to Henry for the wonder-goal versus Chicago to tie the game up. We won the SS that game. I member.

Too long but glad to have gotten in them

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

I still think one of my favorite Luyindula plays was one where he didn't touch the ball at all.

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

It was neither of them that came up with that idea.
