Starting today, you'll be able to bet on pro sports here in NJ (Delaware started taking sports bets last week). Who will you bet on?

I threw down a bet on France to win the world cup at 6:1 odds in Delaware last week.  Also apparently the Red Bulls are 12:1 odds to win the MLS Cup...I wouldn't mind taking that bet as well.

I'll definitely throw down some cheddar on our boys to win MLS Cup. Is Monmouth the only facility ready to go with it today or are their others?

I think it's Monmouth and Borgata to start

Exotic wagers? Odds on Suarez biting an opponent?
Well, you can bet on the half-time score:

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

i read an article that they do offer some exotic wagers like # of corner kicks, but i don't know if suarez biting is a fair bet yet.

Some years ago, I remember a pundit predicting that a boxer would lose on a DQ. He was right!

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

That seems ripe for match fixing

Nah, it was a guy with a rep for low blows.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Nah, it was a prediction, not a bet.
For a boxer with a rep for low blows.

Meadowlands opens a week from Saturday. Joins AC and Monmouth.

Going to make my way over to Meadowlands today to check it out. I'll post some thoughts on it afterwards...
