Him and taxi are my 2 favorite players on the team. My only regret is that I didn't get him to sign my #4 Adams jersey. I think in 10 years he's going to be a big name internationally. Good luck Tyler!

Not mad. Even if he was on a super club like Atlanta he'd have been sold

Keyword in this press release is "transfer" and not "sell". I doubt we are getting any significant kickback for this. I could obviously be wrong though, maybe Austria will be willing to sign some bigger checks this January.

Who knows, the Miazga press release said "transfer" as well: http://www.metrofana...ory.jsp?ID=7116

the big questions is:

is this Davis money? jozy money, miazga money or bradley money?

Neither UEFA nor MLS will allow cut price transfers as those will break FFP and MLS rules.

Now, an agreed upon market price may still fall short of our (possibly biased) wishes and opinions, but it will not be a free transfer or anything like that.

Wish nothing but the best for him. Hopefully he becomes a star in the Bundisliga, and USMNT.

MLS almost always uses "transferred" instead of "sold." It's bizarre terminology, but they're pretty consistent about it.
