We officially qualified now and are playing Atlético Pantoja from the Dominican Republic in the first round. Away goals matter in this round.

Save the dates...

The first leg will be on the road from February 19-21, 2019

The second leg will be at home from February 26-28, 2019

This team is tailor made to play against Mexican possession type teams.

Really hoping for another deep run.

Our route to a final will go through Santos Laguna in the quarterfinals and potentially Tigres in the semifinal. Houston the only other MLS team on our side of the bracket. Saprissa-Tigres a matchup where you could see a bracket-buster.

If we don't beat them by 7, I'll be disappointed.

8 games away from a trophy.

Hate the final being a two-legged affair, but we might not have to worry about that too much.

playing Atlético Pantoja from the Dominican Republic in the first round.

Founded by Argentines, wear Boca colors.
They got here by winning a cup:

Away goals matter in this round.

Oddly enough, no team won a home game in the DR league Liguilla playoff group phase this past season.

first leg will be on the road from February 19-21, 2019

Is anyone planning to go? DR not the safest place.
Flight prices drop after the 18th.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Well at least it's a chance to win a title....

But let's be realistic it's draining and must have repercussions when guys reach the mls playoffs...

I think they need to add a true left fullback to not burn out Kemar so early and they have got to add at least three mids two of which that can also play other positions namely winger or striker..
I just want Metro to win a title sometime in my lifetime.
