Right. And offers by e.g. Celtics and arguably Lakers would still arguably be better.


Moot point now (and you were correct), as AD was shipped to the Lakers. As prolific of a player as he is, I breathed a bit of a sigh of relief. Knicks would have had to gut their team to bring him in, with no assurances of other real reinforcements on the way. Free agency seems very murky now with KDs injury and Kyries apparent desire to be in Brooklyn.
