Transfer fee agreed for this guy

https://www.bt.dk/su...t-eventyrskifte

No idea if its a NYRB signing or salzburg / Lipzig buy with loan to us.

Compete with white for backup striker, but gotta be tough for a 18 year old to move this far.

Finally the big time game-changing international we've been waiting for!

VA should be especially thrilled.

TBF, I don't think anyone is thrilled with our other options at Forward behind BWP, and no better established player would be happy coming here to sit the bench behind #99.

Young players in Europe essentially apprentice out at an early stage. Young players here go to Bradenton.

Look at gymnasts with Olympic dreams, they go to live at key training camps away from home at a very young age. Many young tennis players from around the globe, especially girls, go to live and train in Florida.

Lot's of parents send their kids to boarding schools. Easy? No, but many manage it well.

In a kiddie pool this is a big splash!  :D

Seriously though, don't we want good young prospects to come over here like Casseres (or homegrowns like Adams) to develop and get indoctrinated in the Red Bull way? Start grooming them before they are absolutely needed?

Besides, with his speed he might make a good winger too in our formation.

Yes, except we kinda need one now who's already groomed.

Do you know this is our final move? Do we know if this was the hinted "splash" move? Armas had said they were working on more than one player.

That said I am not exactly brimming with confidence... :(

RB signs them young, sends them to us for development, and if they are good enough, they go back to the mother ship.

Without knowing anything about him, this seems exciting. Given how careful this team is with its spending I don't think they spend actual transfer funds on an 18-year-old if he was just RBII depth.

That roughly translated article mentions a transfer fee, how is that possible if the transfer window for almost every Euro league has already closed?

On the surface this looks like a similar move that we made to bring in Casseres, with the kid's resume I'd be surprised if they have him in mind for the first team this year.
